Just started reading your blog. Some of your earlier posts totally resonated with me re.Italian guy!
OMG I have had the very same experience with Indian guy! He has been divorced 3 years, and we dated for about 4 months this summer - very nice guy, always been open and honest about the fact that he is not sure if he wants to get into marriage/relationship again. OK. But yet we kept meeting/talking/texting regularly. Then he would disappear for a few days and reappear. So I called him on it - does he want to give this a chance and if yes, then we should be meeting up more often, not less often. And if doesnt, then that is fine too, just let me know! Of course, his answer with tears "I dont know - I really like you, I couldn't bear to hurt you, and you are such a nice person and I know I will regret this". Which leaves me hanging because I really really like him and we have great chemistry together.
I told him it's totally fine if you need your space and you need to figure things out. So I stopped contacting him, but he keeps calling/texting randomly like a week later or when he is at the airport heading off on a vacation. Sounds to me like he doesnt want to let me go, yet can't make up his mind about whether he wants a serious relationship or not...it's been a real roller coaster sort of because I like him alot and this limbo state of his is not easy for me.
So I have decided to mentally accept that it will not work out and to date other guys. But you know, secretly deep inside I always wait for that text or call out of the blue and it always does eventually come!

For some reason I was thinking about you today (I think I was thinking about my early days in SF) and I thought hmm.. I wonder if she is still blogging! And you are! Happy belated birthday and I hope you are having a fabulous time on vacation.
